Riding my mountain bike on gravel trail at baylands nature preserve in palo alto ca. Recorded on my galaxy note 2 cellphone. Edited in cyberlink power director 13. This is actually two separate tracks equalized differently to accentuate the crunch of the gravel, and to minimize wind noise. Output in mono.
I recorded with my sony recorder some nature sounds in berlin buch. There is an autobahn near the forrest which i filtered a bit out in the deep frequencies.
Recharging a riffle. Sound made with bike ring. Projet “bruitages” coordonné par josé carrasco, classe de jérôme euphrosine au lycée français de barcelone, hiver 2013.
A montain bike breaking on concrete. Recorded with a pentax k5 and an audio technica pro 24-cm stereo microphone at 16bit/32khz. Slightly edited in audacity in order to reduce major peaks (by hand, no plugin) and to improve the headroom.
A short clip of a recording i made from my cbf600 motorcycle gearbox and chain. You can hear gearbox wine (normal), the sound of the chain running over the drive sprocket, some gear shifts and a little wind noise. I recorded it to see what it sounded like. It can make a good reference with which to compare should you think there is a problem in the future. I like the sound of the engine running and gears, normally drowned out by the exhaust. I clipped the mic to the gear lever. If i do it again i will place it further away from the sprocket.
A bicycle ratchet sound recorded in an anechoic chamber with a condenser microphone, 2010, hyunjoo chung, nara hahn, sang-bae chon, keunwoo choi, hyun-woo koh, at seoul national university, applied acoustics laboratory.
While making field recordings on the harvest moon trail in wolfville, ns, a bunch of kids rode past on their way to school. A few said hello. The stereo on the bikes going past is nice. These could be used as substitutes for whoosh types of audio effects. Recorded with a zoom h1n with windscreen at 24-bit 48khz resolution and cleaned up in izotope rx. Enjoy!.
Sound of a bike passing. Sound recorded with a zoom h4n pro and a rycote mini wind screen. Son d’un passage de vélo. Son enregistré avec un zoom h4n pro et une bonnette rycote mini wind screen. Playing with a bike pump. Recorded wide-stereo, 24-bit in an echoey bathroom. The files has been edited to the best parts. Some degree of headphone bleed is audible in the recording. This makes a pretty good whale sound if you stretch it 500-1000 percent.
This is a simple clip of a police motorcycle starting and revving up a few times. It doesn't have much of a roar but is much softer of an engine sound.
